I bought this game on a whim because I needed something to keep me entertained for a long car trip. I never actually read any reviews until after I started playing, which is probably a good thing since they all say it's a horrible game.

However, I found it fun and oddly addictive, even if it was repetitive and a bit unsatisfactory at the end. Worth the 20 bucks IMO.

I liked the characters and the plotline/idea of the game was pretty cool. It's downsides include the repetitive, super linear gameplay, bad localization/lots of typos, and mismatched voice acting. If you can look past that then it's a lot of fun. c:

So, has anyone else played Lux-Pain? It's a relatively new DS game that came out in America sometime in March 09. It's sort of a visual novel/mystery/dating sim all mixed into one, and despite what some claim to be overwhelming flaws, I found it enjoyable.

Yeah, I have played it. o3o It was entertaining for a while, however, the story was just a little hard to grasp in the beginning, since they just kind of throw it at you, and start without telling you much.

I liked choosing Atsuki's reactions to certain things. xD It was distracting. But man, Natsuki's voice bothered me.. A lot. .-.

I agree, if I hadn't read the manual before starting the game I would have been extremely lost, and even then it was still really confusing, especially because it's timed.

A lot of the voices grated on me- mainly Shinji's and Natsuki's, but the rest were okay. I just turned the volume down when they talked lol.

I... Didn't read the manual. xD Mainly because I didn't have one, but yay! Yeah, when you first use sigma, I was staring at the screen, having no clue, thinking, Am I supposed to know what to do already? xD

Ah, and in the end, the part with Melody was so sad. :C I was like, adskfjkalamo D| Buttface.
