What on earth is it, how do you do it, and what is best to use?

So many questions...

  1. Read the description. It's a way to get , wich will get you items from the shop.

  2. You need to click on Rare and Super Rare items from our inventory (when you're in the Fragmentizer, for sure), and it'll give you a crystal. (Two, if the item is rarity 90 or more).

  3. I try to never use something worth 40k or more.

There is a CHANCE of more than 1 with higher rarity items, but its not guaranteed.

Then you're very lucky, .

There's a chance with most items, actually. Some people grab a ton of cheap commons to frag, even though not all of them will return a crystal. The last list I saw broke it down like this:

Quote
Rarity of 1 - R65 - (0-1 Crystals)
R66 - R85 - (1 Crystal)
R86 - R98 - (1-2 Crystals)
R99 Plus - (1-3 Crystals)
Special, Retired, and Artifact items are NOT crushable.

I saved the list and forgot to save the name of the person who posted it :(

The rarity breakdown isn't quite like that: only items of r90 and over can give you two crystals, even though Super Rare covers everything from r86 upwards.

Other than that, what Lexiana said. I find if I frag non-rare items I average around 3-4 crystals per ten items.

Also, and i'm surprised how many people I've found didn't know this, if you're fragging multiples of the same item you don't need to keep hitting Back - you can just hit refresh or F5 till they're all gone.
