CC, I'm fucking livid right now.

My mom threw out her back about a month ago and she's been taking powerful pain medication for it. Suddenly she's apparently missing half a bottle of pills and she thinks I took them for recreational use. WTF? Where the hell is she coming from with this? I of all people in this house should know that pills are srs bsnss, I've been taking handfuls of prescribed drugs every day since I was 14. I would never dream of stealing anyone's medication, I can't even fathom why anyone would want to. My ex stole medication from my dad once and I verbally tore him apart for it and she knows that. I'm really upset about this. I've been nothing but truthful with her, I don't understand why she doesn't believe me. Obviously the pills went somewhere, but I didn't fucking take them, this is really frustrating. D:

When have you been falsely accused?

Well, did you explain the situation to her as you just did to us? If you tell her stuff like this to her face, it might convince her that you didn't do it. Also tell her that she's free to check your room and pockets or something if she's missing HALF her bottle?

Let her know very clearly that you have your own pills to worry about taking and would never steal hers for any reason. I don't really know what else to suggest--I've never been in this position myself. :/ Good luck.

Uh.. I don't know, I don't get accused of stuff ever, really, but last year my friend thought I hid her book and was FLIPPING OUT. I told her to check her bag where she keeps everything, and she said, "NO, I CHECKED it, it's not in there." She then proceeded to yell at me and then, as a last resort, checked inside the bag. Guess what was in there.

I was falsely accused and fired from a job because of it. I and another employee agreed to switch days and we cleared it with the girl who did the scheduling. This wasn't a huge place - a small town library in fact. I took her Saturday and she took my Friday...I forget now why I needed the day off, but it's not important now, all you need to know is that we agreed and cleared it and everything was fine. Anyways, I of course didn't come in on Friday because she was going to. Well, apparently she didn't and when I showed up to take her Saturday, the boss brings me into her office and I'm fired. I tried to explain what happened to her, but she wouldn't hear any of it because the other girl was her friend and she chose her word over mine even though she was lying. I was seriously pissed for quite a while. Still am, really.

I don't think I've even accused of anything.

Sorry about your mom. Maybe she took them and doesn't remember?
