For me, California's drinking water= cheap epicack.

It's due to retirement homes, drug warehouses, and hospitals flushing drugs down the toilet. The water is clean, but medications like these can't be filtered out.

I wouldn't be surprised if all that shit is in our water over here too. Ah well, there have been plenty of reports on toxins and crap eventually leaking into groundwater... I was expecting it to get polluted eventually.

I read an article recently that said the tap water in the area I live is the best in the UK. Yay for clean water! :D

I live in the UK so the waters pretty good ^^ If I did live in the US though I would definitely stick to bottled water.

And anyways, bottled water is NOT "natural spring water". Bull. It's just tap water in a bottle.

And some of that bottled water isn't even purified, according to a national test. So I don't get why you guys think bottled water is any more safe than tap water.

I live in a small town, and depending where you are, you can taste the copper in the water.... one place I used ot go to tasted like you were sucking on a penny.... I don't mind the water here in town, either. It's not so bad.

In Milwaukee I remember we had an outbreak of cryptosporidium bacteria necessitating lots of boiling then cooling water to drink "We aren't rich people, we don't need bottled water" to quote the parentals.

...This reminds me of the time my stepdad told me the water in the toilet tank would be fit for drinking if we kept the inside of the tank clean. :o That's kinda gross. And guess what? I live in the biggest city in New Mexico, sporting a population close to a million! 8D? xD So I probably get to drink nasty water too. :P My friend has one of those water filters that screws onto the faucet. Maybe I should get one too. :P

That's why we own one of those water machines like you'd see in a public building and get out water in those huge 15 gallon barrels.

Our water tastes like it has crap in it, anyway.

Some years ago I always wondered why people kept drinking bottled water all the time when there was perfectly clean Tap Water for free.

Until I went to the USA for a holiday and got a change to taste the Tapwater.

OMG that tasted terrible. And unless I was really desperate I avoided it.

And with that stats it really makes sense.

And it made me really glad that back home in Austria the water quality of the tab water is one few things that I really love about my country.
