When my parents took me to the DMV to get my license, they accidentally locked the keys in the car. -_-

I did not take a test. (: Driving or written. I just turned in papers and they took my picture and gave me a temporary license.

I would hate to take the test. xD I would fail all over the place, and pee my pants. I'm so glad I did parent taught. 8D

Send in for the parent taught packet, then when you go get your license check that you don't want to take the test. Then you don't. XD It's awesome.

So yesterday I took my test for my license.

I've never wanted to pee my pants so badly in my life.

Actually, I kinda almost did.

I was at the desk with my instructor and shaking like a chihuahua in desperate need of bladder relief.

My mom asked the dude if I could 'run to the little girl's room.' When he said yes, I practically knocked over chairs trying to get there.

Then I get to the car and do the parallel parking.

I JUST BARELY made it in the spot, and by that time, my heart is pounding.

During the actual driving part, the guy tells me to honk my horn, so I did. He then explained to me that he and some Mexican dude talk like this since they don't speak each other's language.

I was already trying not to headsmash my face into the wheel.

That's when I look at the dashboard. To my horror.

The emergency brake was still halfway on.

Apparently in my pounding heart, my hands shook and didn't push the level down all the way.

I spent the last half of my test begging for the guy not to notice.

When I got to the end, I parked. And it wasn't even in the spot straight.

The guy is writing stuff while my heart is thumping against the side of my head.

Then I hear the god-sent words:

Good job, you passed.

I got out of the car and heaved a huge sigh of relief.

Then almost peed my pants again.

WHOOO

So everyone clear the roads. I has a license :o

The guy that I did my driving test with was at least 843 years old and he was taking his medicine during my test. Those foil wrapped packets are really distracting. xD

Oh wow, ouch :( LOL

Thankfully my parents gave me my own key to prevent that incident :P

Yet I somehow always lose them :[

You never realize how annoying they are until they're in the car while you're taking your test XD

i think the driving test is a joke. the written test is much more nerve-wracking. haha

It was a joke. It was really easy, but I got all worked up over it anyway xD The ONE night my body decided it wanted to stay up. RIGHT before my test. Not cool :x

Haha. I remember my test. The guy must of thought I had tourettes I was shaking so badly. I was lucky he didn't even open the door when I parallel parked. He was just like, whatever.

i think it would be a hilarious social experiment if people were randomly tested on parallel parking or something equally absurd. maybe that should be a new reality game show -- parallel park perfectly for $500. lol

My bladder decided to take over the duty of showing my nerves.

I can parallel park just fine. It would be the regular parking I'd have trouble with XD

My mom was driving in the city in her Ford F150 and she backed into some chick while parallel parking.

I was like: You're in a huge-ass truck, Mom. What did you expect? XD

oh god, im 20 and i still havent even taken the written exam. honestly, im just freaked out in general about driving. and the fact that i just moved to canada a couple years ago (the roads work kind of differently than where i grew up), so its kind of worse D:

my brother even got pulled over yesterday because he stayed in the carpool lane (which i didnt even realize). he got away with it because he still uses his american license. but if that were me, i would have gotten a ticket D:

My mom is going to drag me out of bed at 6 AM tomorrow (as long as it isn't too wet out) and drive me to the elementary school and teach me the basics of driving.

I could technically start Drivers Ed this July, but mom won't let me. :(

I didn't have to take mine. I did at home study and if your parents think that you can drive well enough they can wave the test.
