So I got myself a beautiful car yesterday. (: She's an '08 Kia Rio purchased from Enterprise (yeah, they sell cars, too!). She's beautiful. She's orange-red with a black fabric interior, but lacks power lock and power windows, lol. But she's perfect and I named her Guinevere. We changed the name of my best friend's car to Lancelot. :P <33 I'm also getting my license on Tuesday. :D So, everything is going SO well.

So, CC, got any advice for a first-time car owner? ALSO, more importantly, share about your first car... or even your current one! Hey, even your favourite car will do. (:

Mine was '88 Volvo sedan named Vera. She's tan. Unfortunately I have to sell her because I moved. I'm really sad about it. Guinevere is so pretty!

I have a 98' Saturn SL2 that my grandma gave me. It is the ugliest looking thing ever and stalls on me all the time. I don't have any intent on naming it unless if it's name is going to be Knight Failsalot.

i never really understood why people name their cars at all.

I have a 99 Oldsmobile Cutlass. He's white with gray fabric interior. He has power windows and locks and I have had him for almost a year now. His name is Mercutio.

Why, back in my day, the only car we really had available was the Ford Model T, and we liked it. And for the non-Tesla in me, whenever I'm home I get to drive around my mom's '95 Ford Exploder that she stopped driving awhile ago. Joy.

I can't learn since there's no place here in N.Y.C where you can find an open space to learn. I'm fine with it, I just use the subways instead. :P

My first car was actually my sister's car. She was living in Edinburgh at the time and didn't need it, so it lived here. It was a blue Renault Clio. It was nice enough to drive. When my sister came home it got problematic. I was used to having a car to myself then I had to share one. She had it for three weeks on the go at one point, I was stranded in the countryside with little public transport, and then she dropped it off for me to take to work with no petrol in it. >O

For my 21st birthday my Dad bought me a car. I had absolutely no idea that I was getting one. After I had been given all my presents, he gave me another and told me he had forgotten about it and hadn't wrapped it. It was a jewellery box and I thought it was a necklace. Inside were some car keys. :P My car is a blue/silver Seat Ibiza. I'm not one for naming cars but the girls at work have named her Bessie.

Mine was an '02 blue PT cruiser. My dad drove it and fried the engine... now I have a beater '97 champagne cavalier until I can afford something better. sigh kicks junky car

I haven't got one yet - I probably won't be able to get one for myself for another year or two because I need to save up for shit and I'd have to pay insurance, tax, petrol - it's too much at the moment. When I do finally get my bloody provisional license (been saying that for months now :P) I'll probably borrow my mum's car (Mercedes A-Class) until I can get a cheapo one for myself (probably an old vauxhall corsa or a fiat punto or something).

I have a big old blue jeep that my dad owned. It's really loud, shakes on the interstate because of the speed, and bounces SO bad when you go over a bump but I love it anyways. XD

I used to drive a '94 Buick. Gah it was a friggin' clunker, but it took A LOT of damage! Then I upgraded to an '04 champagne Kia Rio with a side swipe on the drivers side.
