Today I bought 5 watches in a garage sale for 12 dollars to make steampunk stuff out of. I got three fake Breitling watches and two real Seiko watches. I got home to find out that they are worth about $1100 altogether...probably $500-600 since they're used. If the Breitling watches had been real, it would all be worth about $12,000 total...but oh well. What I got is perfectly fine with me. :]

Well, it wasn't at a garage sale.

My neighbor downstairs was cleaning out the garage and he'd find a bunch of pex dispensers. I collect pez dispensers and he gave me one that I didn't have. It's around $50 bucks.

I bought a simpsons animmation cell once for $10 that turned out to be worth $400.

Well, I bought a rug for 10 dollars and found out it was worth $5,000. Sold it.

hmmm i found a breyer model horse at a yard sale for $20 and it turns out it is a rare one worth like $200. to bad im not selling it lol

My friend bought a painting at a flea market, and it turned out to be worth $2,000ish O: It was an extremely lucky find. Her family really needed to money to pay off bills.

I think she paid 50 dollars for it.

Technically not a garage sale, but;

My neighbor was moving, and she was letting me pick and choose through oversized picture frames that she was gonna throw away... I found these two Audubon prints, which I've since had successfully checked for authenticity~

I have a bunch of Star Wars prints I got for free from an old neighbor. I dunno how much they're worth. I also got two free couches, a dinner table with four chairs, and a printer from that dude.
