Okay, so at sometime around midnight at my house and I got jolted awake by the phone ringing. I picked it up and it was my mom calling from our summer home across the island. I started to speak to herd and she demanded to talk to my dad. So, I ran upstairs (I was down on the computer. x3) and gave the phone to him.
After a few minutes, it sounded as if the pipes had broken down again and the fish were all dying (They work at an aquarium.) After he finished talking with her, I asked him what was wrong. Dad simply replied, 'Oh, she's just being a worry-wart, as usual.' and went back to bed. An hour later, the phone rang again. It was mom again. So I handed to phone to dad and he began speaking to her again. This time, he wrote down 2 phone numbers on a piece of paper and finished off his conversation with mom.
This time, he told me what was wrong. Turns out, one of the women who works for my mom, her husband and some friends were out drinking and ended up drinking a bit too much. So, her husband (Let's call him Bill.) walks over to the summer home where mom is asleep and starts banging on the window. Mom, startled, ran to the window to see Bill, drunk, outside her house.
And she was afraid. Genuinly afraid. The numbers that dad wrote down were the numbers for *Lauren, Bill's wife and *Janet, Bill's mother.
Not only am I afraid for my mom, but I have to stay in that summer home for 2 months this summer. Needless to say, I am scared shitless and I do NOT want to go out there this summer. ;-;
I need advice about talking to my parents about this. Because, frankly, I don't want to go out there ever again. I've always hated it there and now, I not only hate it, I'm terrified of it. o-o
I don't see any reason to be afraid. Are you staying with your parents at the house? If so, it's unlikely they'd let anything happen to you.
Yeah, my parents will be there, but I suffer from extreme paranoia. It's horrible. If I as much hear the neighbors car arrive home at 11 o clock, I go into a minispazz.
If I woke up at midnight, walked into my kitchen and saw a big, drunk man standing outside the window, I'd be down for the count. Or, under my bed, huddled in a small ball. ;-;
