I broke up with my boyfriend--well he's my ex now--earlier this morning, but I'm the one who's feeling heartbroken. I hate it when guys act like they just don't care anymore. <_<

Anyways, he said he was planning to break up with me anyways because he felt we were getting too distant. Plus, I was switching schools. (The school I'm going to is only a ten minute walk from his).

And now I'm starting to question whether he actually wanted to go out with me. -.-

I don't know if I should keep being his friend or not.

I would suggest keeping away until you feel less heartbroken, at least. The more you see him while you're still hurting - the longer it might take before you're over him.

Being friends with ex's only seem to work when all feelings are gone. At least it's like that with me.

Stay away for a while, let both you and him calm down and come to grips with things. Later on, try to be his friend. I'm still friends with a few of my exes. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It really depends on how mature both people are.

What's done is done. Why bother wasting energy on the past "what ifs". You guys went out, etc. Nothing will change that.

I got your back Jack, bitches be crazy.

Thanks for the advice guys. c: I'm trying to keep away from him but it's really hard. It's like...everything reminds me of him.

He got really bummed out when I said I was going to rip up this one picture of us at the mall, even though I was joking. I really need to let go of the fact that nothing's going to happen between us. Bleh.

Well, this is kind of what breaking up is. It means "nothing's going to happen between us".

There's always a little regret unless the person you broke up with was a complete ass. But you had your reasons for it and he was wanting to end it too. You'll be alright. You just need time to heal.

No one likes being rejected. He's probably just trying not to look vulnerable by acting as if it wasn't a big deal.

Thanks again. c:

But now that I look back, I don't really know why I broke up with him. O.o I keep re-playing the past week in my head-brain and I can't think of why. Last time we saw each other, we were doing pretty well. Grr.
