My parental units have scared me out of getting my lip and septum pierced.
Snakebites: Overdone but versatile. Spiderbites: Cute on certain people. Angelbites: Often trashy. Monroe: Can be trashy, sometimes cute.
I want to get my lip pierced, and I've been told I'd look good with a Monroe (at which point I was like "What? NO."). I'm mostly a tattoo girl though. Since I'm eighteen, Mom doesn't have a say in what I do about it.
I belong to none of these "kidss" of which you speak, but I have 5 lip piercings, HAH! And I refuse to use all these fancy names! Why do they exist! Why does every kid want to name their piercing something "original"!? You've got a double/triple/quadruple lip piercing, not a giraffe slobber. And I must agree with whomever said Monroes look like silver warts. Stupidest piercing idea ever. ANDDDD why do you all hate on septum piercings. ;___; I love my bullring. Speaking of which I need to stretch it more so it's big and manly MUAHAHAHAH.
dropping by to say uh...lol at piercings being spelled wrong. And they've got nothing to do with "emo/scene"
on topic tho, I think Monroes look like effin zits but I really like how multiple ear piercings at once look and eyebrow piercings
certain piercings look good on certain people. Because career wise I will need to keep all of my mods out of the visual areas (face, neck, arms) I have to be picky with what i want. Age 18, navel, 19 tattoo, but it's in a place that will be covered, 23, chest dermal anchor but that rejected, and a few other piercings I won't mention now ^_^' I have a very innocent looking face that hides the mods, I say you should wait until you're old enough to decide not only will i want to keep these in the future, but will I have any regrets if something goes wrong (rejection, keloids, infection) can seriously scar you.
Everyone hating on septum piercings needs to stop. They're pretty much one of the best facial piercings ever, definitely my favorite of mine. (I have septum & snakebites) Don't know what I want next facially, to be quite honest. I'm thinking a pair of microdermals on my cheeks. I don't want to get my tongue pierced until I split it. >.> Need moar ear piercings first, though.
I personally like monroes! I think they look sexy on people who are fitted and dress to match. I don't like chin labrets cause they remind me of chin pimples or septums cause they remind me of bulls. I'm sort of back and forth on sedgwicks cause the dimple-ish look is cute but I wouldn't want face scarring... And for the other facial piercings I don't really care for them.

I think it's clear already that piercings aren't an 'emo/scene' thing, and I don't associate myself with either, I'm too old for that stuff =P once you hit the end of college you phase out of that group stuff, really.
Anyways, as far as those go.. Monroes are effing ugly. Angel bites are frickin' ugly. Spider bites are seriously ugly. Snake bites would be pretty nice on the right person, but otherwise not really. Depends on how bulky they are, what they put in them.
I think as far as piercings go I'm a traditionalist, lower lip rings, ears, sometimes eyebrow (and only one, not all). Facial piercings look good on drawings for the most part, to me. Or tribal people with bone piercings =P Or Bonesy. But a 13 year old girl? Personally, that'd look awful imo =/
You should really wait until you're older. You need to have the responsibility to take care of them. You need to have the money to get them. Not getting them now as opposed to in two or three years isn't lame, it's wise. If you want any sort of counter/food job, look forward to taking them out constantly. Don't get me wrong, I like some piercings, but don't push it. You're 13 -__-
If you get hooked at 13, who knows, maybe this is you at 14! :O!!
[edit] Oh, and make sure you keep up a sign that says, "The following ___bite piercings are currently not available for rope attatchment, cargo loads, or pulling tourists. Thank you." My sister had a septum piercing, when she'd touch it it looked like she was doing some hyper-nose picking
: Snakebites - I LOVE snakebites, the were my first piercing, well technically first two. (: : Spiderbites - I don't care for the look. : Angelbites - I have angeblites, they're adorable! But the beads are complete pains. I lost one at a concert.. ugh. : Monroe - I think a single monroe just looks..trashy, but one on each side is edgy. : And just liprings, ear piercings, and body piercings. -
I have 10 piercings not counting lobes, 16g snakebites, 18g angelbites, 10g septum, 18g nose on both sides, 16g crtilage, 12g tongue, 12g bridge, 8g ears.
I started getting pierced when I had just turned 13 and I'll be 16 in June now. I LOVE piercings soso much. I've noticed lip/eyebrow piercings are incredibly difficult to pull off. In reality though, it depends on the person if the piercing looks classy or trashy. But if you want it, screw what everyone says go for it, the scars piercings leave are barely noticeable (unless it's a surface piercing they get ugly) and it's not to to bad getting a job, most places are O.K. with one or two.(Just not 10.. like I have lol! >.< )
And, piercings aren't for scene/emo kids as already stated by many. My grandma was talking about doing her nose and she's most certainly not scene or emo. o.o
Remember April 20th, 2011 when we thought the world might end, when the PSN was down? These guys do. Reminisce those horrible days, the catastrophic events! The homeless men! ...And, is that water orange?
Angel bites arn't something I would get. I would get something like a monroe or snake/spiderbites. Angelbites only look good on some people.
I totally want a lip ring, tongue piercing, and eyebrow piercing. Unfortunately I'm like, 4 years under the legal age. I also really want some tattoos... but hey, I've got years to think about whether it's something I REALLY want or not :)
Anyhow~
Snakebites - Look good on some people Spiderbites - I love them, lol Angelbites - Uh, no thanks =/ Ugly Monroe - Don't like them
Whilst trying to clarify which piercing goes where, this is what I found.
My suggestion? Take that photo with you and say "I WANT TO BE THIS!"
Piercings are odd. Sometimes I think they're awesome, other times not. However, I'm sort of worried that if I ever got a lip piercing it wouldn't be too good for my gums, which are already bad enough from when I was a child. So I suppose they're not for me.
Oh, that and they don't allow facial piercings where I work. Not that it's a good enough job to give a shit but, well... getting fired over my face isn't on my agenda.
