I currently have some points to spend at the reading contest shop but for some reason i'm unable to buy anything with my points. Can someone help me out?

The Shop will open on July 1st. Right now, it's look and admire only, no buying.

If I have points but don't use them will they carry over to the next drive?

i think so. the only thing is that you won't be able to donate whichever books you used to get those points again. for example, if you used the daybreak to get 1 point this reading contest and you don't spend that one point before the next reading contest, you won't be able to submit that book during the next contest.

at least i /think/ that's how it works.
