Aw, yay! 8D
Mine's pretty boring haha. I had been talking with him for a couple months before we went out on a date. I told him the night before it that I was not into a movie+dinner kind of deal. I'd rather just watch a movie at his house or play some of his 360 games. So that's what we did, after he teased me a little about that being my first ever date. xD
Aww!
Even though my boy and I are a few hours apart now, we always end up talking about what a total disaster out first date really was.
First thing was that his car broke down, so he had to drive his mom's mini-van. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but it's this pinkish-pastel colour that just... ew. Then the restaurant screwed up our table, so we had to find another place to go.
The waiter messed up our order twice, he burnt his eyebrow on a sparkler, and I ended up spilling water all over myself.
I was in tears on the ride home. But when we pulled into my driveway and I was about to get out, he pulled me to him and just kissed me. It wasn't our first kiss, but it felt like it was our first kiss of something a lot more special than 'I like you'. It made the whole night that much better.
My advice, though, is to go out with a guy that you like in return. It's easy to get caught up in the thrill of a first date, only to find out you really don't care for them all that much a few weeks down the road. If you like him, go for it. Be yourself and be open to him. If you're unsure, be honest. At least you're not 'shooting him down', just sort of putting him on hold.
AND NEVER GO TO KELSEY'S. FUCK THAT RESTAURANT.
...
-cough-
Also, avoiding making out in the break room when your boss is there. O_o
Kelsey's?! Oh wow didn't know there was a place called that. All I saw was my name and I was like 'HEY COOL.... my name is a restaurant!' 8D;;;
My first date with Austin was actually to the movies to go see Speed Racer back last May. XDD Adorable! But that was the first date we actually paid for. xD We've had plenty of other dates prior to that one where we just went to the park and walked around talking and such after buying cookies and junk at Thriftway.
I hate fuddy-duddy dates where dinner costs up to $80 for both of us... It's fun once, then it's like.... enough already. @;;; I prefer the cute, cheap date and where we can pretty much just act like best buds. XDD <3
Hell yes! I'm Kelsey, too! -highfive-
Yeah. The one near me is usually awful. I always seem to get there when there's some dumbass college birthday party going on and everyone is half-drunk.
-_-
But the spinach dip IS SO GOOD.
First dates seem to always go wrong. My boyfriend turned up about an hour late on our first date because the bus he took broke down or something. Later on we were walking along the beach ( there is a man-made beach in the city where I live) and somehow I managed to fall in the water and my dress went kind of seethrough so it was very embarassing!
I thought that would ruin the date but it ended up making it better because it was a pretty good excuse to cuddle and what not.
The bus that we normally take to get home was really late and he ended up getting into heaps of trouble as he is currently in boarding school. I don't think that he minded getting in trouble though. 15 months later and we still laugh about it.
My tips for you would be to stay away from water if you are a clutz like me, and remember to have fun because even if it goes horribly wrong, you will laugh about it later.
My girlfriend asked me out while we were at a play together. :3 Our entire drama troupe went to a drama workshop and a play, we were sitting next to each other and she handed me a note in the dark between scenes. I read it when the lights came back on for intermission (yes she asked me out with a note, sthu it was adorable XD), ran out to the lobby where she was and threw my arms around her. "Does this answer your question?" ...Apparently though all of our friends had been trying to get us together the entire time. XD We already had feelings for each other... We're both just chickens. 8D''
We went to see the Transformers movie, but since we were both 16 (no driver's licence) my Dad had to give us a ride DX It was fun, but it didn't work out between us :P
There's actually nothing wrong with it. Their spinich dip is serously to die for, and they have the best freakin' salads EVER. But the one I always go to (rather, get dragged to when the family comes over) always fudges the order, or the service is bad, or we end up sitting right next to a table of either screaming babies or a party with a bunch of drunk frat boys.
I don't know. :/
Maybe Kelsey's just hates people named Kelsey. ;-;
But then we get to sue them and spend the damages on useless things we dont' need, but really want anyway.
Like a solid gold yacht.
Who cares if it doesn't float. IT'S A YACHT MADE OF GOLD.
tehe. my first date was at taco bell and i ate more than my boyfriend. then we went to dairy queen and he got me some ice cream.
then we went back to his house and... well, you don't need to know the rest. it was fun. :P
Well the first date with my ex was actually just hanging out in front of the high school. XD We spent a total of around two hours around there doing absolutely nothing but writing random, silly things and sitting around. But my ex was really shy in the beginning so we didn't kiss until a couple days later.
My favorite date/memory is of us going to the mall and then a movie after. The mall was fun, except after when we went to go to the movies. Turns out the movie theater had closed down so we just walked around town and grabbed Starbucks and Subway's for lunch.
Second favorite would have to be of me going to his house. There's some railroad tracks near his apartment complex so we went there and crossed this bridge to where this park was and then came back to the creek. And then we made out for an hour underneath a willow tree. c:
I hate remembering the good times we had together. >:|
Oh, and have fun on your date! c: Hope it goes well.
