I don't know who else lives in the DC area, but I live right on the red line in the NW quadrant, so needless to say I've been a little worried about this.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, a few hours ago, a Metro train smashed right into the back of another between the Fort Totten and Takoma stations.

Do any of you know someone who was in the crash, or is anyone else still not sure and concerned?

I know people in DC... But I doubt/hope they weren't on either train :/. Upon logging in to my computer I read about it, and was horrified.

i was on the red line as it happened! we were stuck in the tunnel for about 30 minutes which i guess was somehow related to the crash and i think soon after the red line stopped running so i'm just glad to be home now :)
