Malice isn't included on the list because it very likely isn't a reference to anything in particular. Similarly, I think the Book Belts, Tattered Page, and Empty Scroll Rod are just general book themed items.

I decided to add to add Cuirass of the Literati and Poniard of the Literati. If you really don't think they're references, feel free to comment and make your case.

Well I heard that the Noctule might be A Wrinkle in Time. It's been ages since I read it though, so I really can't say. Also, someone in the thread I linked narrowed the Battered War Journal down to like... 5 books. The 'victories and defeats' in the summary makes me think of War and Peace, but seeing as I haven't actually read the book...

Yeah, I don't know. D: I just know that now that I've figured out all the references, I'll NEVER be able to get everything I need from that darn shop.

I'm fairly certain the Literati items aren't references to anything. The term literati refers to people who are interested/educated in literature, I think?

Okay, so I just spent all my sP and bought 20 more books. I have 322 now. ;-; But I'll still never, ever, ever be able to get all this amazing stuff. I hate the subeta artists for doing this to me. xD I'm gonna have to SERIOUSLY set my priorities straight before I start buying.

I didn't miss it. I left it off because I think it's just a general book item, rather than a specific reference to anything. If it is a reference to something though, I'll add it back.

Fahrenheit is one of my favorite books of all time. I'm very happy with that reference.

I want to say the yellowed photograph is Planet of the Apes, but I'm not positive. It's just the only thing that pops out at me.
