i just went through a round of calls from some weirdo lady who keeps calling us. she's always looking for my dad like she's his girlfriend or something...which i would understand if he hadn't said his last relationship died a while ago and if she didn't call at hours when he's obviously at work. or sleeping. girlfriends usually know what their boyfriend's work hours are and the average time they hit the hay, don't they?
all i know about her is that her name is shawndrika (yay caller id) and she never leaves messages on the answering machine. she just keeps on calling and calling and calling...it's like, wtf. if no one answers the first three times, that means you should leave a message and stop ringing them up!
the only time she left a message it was something along the lines of 'KEITH (my dad) WHERE ARE YOU PLZZZ CALL ME.' she sounded a bit calmer than that, but it still bugged me. it's kind of entertaining listening to the phone ring a million times, but it's often just flat out annoying.
i wonder what she's calling us for. i think my dad has only actually talked to her on the phone once. :o
Wow, that's insane. o.o; You should pick up the phone and ask her. And if she doesn't have a good answer, threaten her that you'll take some drastic measures. Is it possible to block someone's number on your phone?
I was about to suggest that they might've had the wrong number, up until the Keith thing. :(
That's creepy though. I'd just answer it and say that he isn't home but you'll let him know that she called. Make it a lot easier on everyone. :/

yeah, it sounds like it, but i can assure you that's not the case. he is a really, really nice guy who means no harm to anyone, especially ladies...i seriously doubt he'd ever do something like that. plus, he hardly ever goes out anymore. the only times he does he takes a friend along and drives down to the casino in oklahoma. he can't have his way with a girl when he's got to drive his buddy back up here.

we both used to. but, due to money issues, we had to cancel. :( he used his cellphone all the time, but i only used mine for emergencies.
he sometimes borrows the cellphone everyone in his department uses, though, to make important calls that couldn't wait until he got home. i think i'll give her his work number so she can bug him there instead of me at home.
Pick up the phone and answer in an accent and tell her the person she's calling has a used number. Do this every time she calls. Maybe she'll eventually get bored of it.
Or you can just pick up and ask her what she wants? I doubt it could be important if she no longer has ties to your dad/family but it's better than call after call. :/
