Just be a little bit nicer to him then you are towards other people, and try to show that you have feelings for him. Maybe try to sneak some 1x1 time with him, or talk to him on the phone. Just try to further the relationship, and maybe he'll get to like you.

... How do I flirt? There are some guys who live near me who I sort of like, and I'd like to try and flirt with them a bit. I've never done it before, but I really want to know how to do it subtly, without looking like a total slut.

What I'd do is just try to act friendly around them! It's always a good way to at least make the boys like you as a friend, and it'll help you learn more about them. :)

Hmmm, that does complicate matters. Well, if there's one boy in particular you like, see if you can invite him out for some one-on-one time together. It doesn't have to be anything romantic; maybe the two of you seeing a movie together, or grabbing some coffee or ice cream. Just try to be as casual about it as possible, and ask him out by saying something like 'Hey, wanna see XYZ with me?' or something like that. Even if it doesn't end up a twoo-wuv kinda thing, it'll at least show him you're interested in spending more time with him and getting to be more intimate.

My personal idea of courting was, until a few months ago, entirely online and consisted of discussing similar interests.

Everyone wants something. Once you've gotten to the point where the two of you are close, get it for him.

(And no, unless he's really a guy you don't want to be involved with, it's not sex.

Apparently my current boyfriend claimed I had been flirting with him for a long time before we got together - and all I did was being nice to him. I never flirted with him on purpose :P

So I guess some flirting just comes naturally.

I think people flirt without realising. just be randomly suggestive, always kind, a touch here, a touch here, a dash of humor, and kabaam.
