Now, I live in S.Korea and we have monsoon season right now. That means it's rainy and hot at the same time D:

That's where my problems start. I'm Caucasian, so I'm a foreigner here and have very fair skin. I get sunburned easily and my skin is usually pretty dry, even though I moisturize daily.

Every summer, the skin at my fingertips peel off (first layer, mostly). Each time I get out of the shower or wash my hands, it gets worse ):

Does anyone know what this is? What can I do against it?

Please help me D:

Edit for grammar errors mostly. Yeah, it should be "hot, rainy weather causes skin problems". ^_^;; Sorry.

Could be dermatitis?

Do you use different lotions for different seasons?

Or it could just be the extra moisture.

It happens to my feet in winter. I peel inbetween my toes because I always wear socks.

No, it isn't dermatitis because I don't have any redness or blisters. At first, I though of that too. >:

However, I did switch lotions, but it can't be the cause because at the moment, only one hand is affected.

It really could be the extra moisture, as you said.

What did you do against it?

My friend has the same problem over here and he went to the doctor. He got this lotion/cream, but I'm not sure which one, guess I'll ask him.

Try not to wear socks so much. lol

I know thats not very helpful.

It could be possible one hand is more sensitive than the other, its the only think i can think of. Perhaps switch back to your old lotion too and see if that helps.

Actually, I'm right-handed and that's the reason why one hand is more affected.

It seems like going to the doctor is the best what I can do at the moment.

Thanks for your help.
