And it sounds so stupid, at least to me.
I've got a gas pain in my chest, and it runs all the way to my back and up my shoulder.
I've had it since Monday night, though it was getting better on Tuesday. By Wenesday, I thought it was almost gone. What do I wake up to this morning? Pain, lots of fun.
I've managed to massage to the point where it doesn't hurt to breath right now, but I need something a little more long term.
In other words, how do you fix this?
(( And have you ever had a situation where you felt like you were being plagued by something stupid? ))
Try to burp? I dunno. Maybe it's heart burn
claireofheartz: I've tried lying down but I haven't added drinking water to the mix, so I'll give it a go.
Hitsugayaa: My dad's had this a couple times before, it's a gas pain. He also suggests squeezing it until it bursts, which will cause multiple levels of pain. I'm not so good with that. Thank you for the suggestion, though I'm not sure I know how to burp...
I have this too sometimes, it starts at my chest and goes everywhere. It's a nerve that gets between my bones or something that causes this Dx It's gone after a few moments most of the time, sometimes it takes some days to go though :x
and how to burp... have you tried swallowing air? If I want to burp I swallow as much air as I can and sooner or later I HAVE to burp XD
I've got a boob pain at the moment. Super annoying.
And I look like I'm feeling myself up trying to get rid of it. XD
haha, i was thinking it might like, drown or dissolve the pain? but...yea :)
if you have anything like liquid gaviscon in the house try that...it takes a little longer to work than my next method, but does work...
however the cheapest way of doing it is to drink glass after glass of warm water as quickly as possible...the quicker you down them, the more air you'll be taking into your stomach with each gulp...after a few glasses, really try to burp...usually once you start you'll have a few major burps and then the pain will go away... :)
I know what you are talking about. Putting pressure on it helps, but waiting is the best thing.
