Sorry, his name didn't ring a bell. But then again, I'm not that much of a news listner. I hope he died a natural cause?

But if a legendary newscaster dies, the news lose some of it's glorie and gains some history. A little while ago an old and well known newscaster in the Netherlands died. I remember him reading the news on national televisions. He participated as a jury in many gameshows. Although he was already retired and died of natural causes, you somehow miss it anyway.

Hell yeah -- thanks for making a board. I remember seeing him on the Tonight Show, and Star Search when I was a kid.. was sad when I heard the news that he passed.
