working on a bunch of drawings about being white trash.
i don't really want any crits on this wip, except for on THE SHOTGUN AND THE HANDS
redlines and refs appreciated :3
i am just not familiar with guns at all, but i really want it to look good!
thanks all :3
Ivy, that is totally awesome; I love it so far. It just gives off the perfect 'redneck' sort of vibe while remaining artsy? And it reminds me somehow of this totally awesome painting I tried to find but can't remember the name of. D : Gotta love the mullet. Anyway, I am not totally great at guns either, but I like how he's holding it now--it makes it look sort defensive, not agressive, if you get what I mean? But I don't know if that's why you were going for. I found a few refs here for you of other ways to hold it, just in case: click (obv. you're going for a smaller gun xD) click (that one has a deer in it. don't look if you're sensitive. ;u; ) click (ahahaha ;;; ) They all show pretty good hands I think. I also did this quick redline to show another way to do it (you could just move the gun if you want his hand on the trigger). There's lots of ways to hold a gun, I guess! I think it's pretty fab already though; sorry I can't be more helpful. I can't wait to see it done. c:
HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHA ILU ORANGE
THOSE ARE THE MOST HILARIOUS REFS EVER!
and thanks for the redline, but i think i am going to keep him in this position. i am just wondering how his hands should look, and how the double-barrel and the other, like, wooden part of the gun should look. i suck at perspective of geometric-type things.
