First off. Apologies if this is in the wrong area, it just seemed the most likely to me.

Secondly, I don't know ANYTHING about coding past basic HTML/CSS stuff. I can make the font bold or change colors. WOOO. XD

FYI:: I'm running Windows XP, and Firefox is the browser I'm having issues with.

I've been getting alot of script errors lately. Usually it happens when I'm questing, and end up in a large usershop, or I'm surfing the pound. It occationally happens on the forums, and various other areas of the site as well. Firefox will lag, then freeze, going nonresponsive for a few seconds, to several minutes, and then the script error pops up. (I also get ALOT of script errors browsing Wajas and other sites by the way. So I know its not just Subeta, and must have something to do with Firefox?)

This is the error I get popping up:

Quote

Warning: Unresponsive script</p>
<p>A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

I then have two options Stop script and Continue. Choosing either both net the same result - the page loads as it should have and I'm able to continue until it decides to act up again.

My question: Why is it doing this? What are the scripts for? And can it be fixed or do I just have to deal? XD

Thanks in advance~ :3

I'm not very knowledgeable about script stuff, but it kind of sounds like a glitch with Firefox. Have you tried re-installing it? It might be having spaz attacks with errors in script that are usually just ignored. :P

If it's an option in Firefox preferences, I can't seem to find it. But re-installing would reset it, anyway.
