Ok, its my mom's dog but she is more attached to me. Well my mom is renting a place that doesn't allow petz. She figured the landlord woul never show. Well she left that part out when I had to babysit "dogs" while she was on vacation. Well guess who showed up? The lovely landlord. He remined me of an skinny version of Santa. Well I had to get all the dogs out of the house. Managed that but when my mom and her boytoy got back from vacation they made the dog come back in the house.

Well guess who showed up again today? So instead of looking for a new place that alows animals, her first assumption "put her down". She is to lazy to get off her fat ass to put her in a damn shelter. Here I have been calling everyone I know, and they all manage to have an excuse. So I really have no clue on what to do. She really is a sweet dog. A little over weight. But she is a pure bred boxer. She also isn't an outside dog. The only problem is that she is middle aged, and I'm not sure whom would adopt her. So I am dumbfounded and destraught.

Whatever you do, don't put her down D: She doesn't deserve it. "Oh, no one can keep her, guess she'll have to die."

Noooo >.> Either call a shelter or maybe you can take her. Boxers are cute dogs, especially if they're a bit fat :3

:o That is horrible! You should put an ad online to see if anyone will take the dog. Especially after hearing that story, I would take her in a heart beat! :(

As a former dog owner (a Boxer one at that), this is completely alarming to me. I agreed with Lacylicious, put an ad online. Put even more effort out by putting signs around the neighborhood. Maybe walk her around while passing out flyers. Why in the heck would your mom not want to put her into a shelter? :x I wish I could think of more advice, but I can't. All my wishes, and I hope your dog finds a home! D=

Is she at least feeding her and giving her water? No offense, but your mum seems like a heartless bitch :(.

Put ads online. Write a nice, sad story. Hopefully someone will take her in.

I don't recommend a shelter, unless there is absolutely nothing you can do. If she's an older dog, she won't have a very good change of getting adopted, and will be put to sleep anyways.

Whatever you do, don't put that dog to sleep. There are so many other options than letting her be put down.

Hopefully your friend's friend can take the dog for sure. If not, then definitely start researching any local pounds near you. Animal shelters aren't the best place, but I'm sure most dogs would rather have a second chance than be killed so unfairly.
