This is about the poem Rime of the Ancient Mariner. So, if you haven't read the poem I recommend you do so before you look at this. XD You can find the poem HERE.

What I'm trying to do is illustrate a little bit of the poem, just for fun (and 'cause it is a really great poem). I picked this stanza to illustrate.

Ah ! well a-day ! what evil looks Had I from old and young ! Instead of the cross, the Albatross About my neck was hung.

And I'd like some constructive crits. And suggestions for what to do with the background, 'cause I'm not quite sure. XD
