Okay, a guy broke up with me a year ago, and since then, I haven't been able to get another boyfriend. It's not so much that I haven't moved on or am desperate, I'd just like to have someone there to love on and whatnot.

I have a tendency to be sarcastic and I like to have fun with people.

My problem lies in this:

Over the past year, I've managed to get turned down by three guys (asked out within a reasonable space, about two or three months apart). I don't mind being turned down, it's just that it doesn't seem like guys want to look my way ever since I cut my hair way short. Before a couple gave me a second glance, but I feel like I look better now.

I'd like to think that I'm a nice, approchable person, and I know what I want in a guy. I'd just like to know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just really dumb luck that all the guys I've asked have turned me down flat.

(I'm a girl, by the way, and I'm 16. I'm not dead-set on a relationship and not obsessed, it's just been bothering me a bit as of late)

i'm betting it's just dumb luck. remember the adage that when you are looking for something, stop looking. ^_^

yes, summer camp is a good place to meet new people. LOTS of potential there for sure. (lord knows i got my fair share of potential at summer camp) UGH! haha

Yeah, as is public school. I've been stuck in private school for YEARS (since kindergarten), so that should be way better than a class of 25 next year. -_-'
