So yeah, I'm a Neo refugee, and have been since my cousin told me about Subeta in '07. I still go on Neo though, to chat with the friends I've made in my time on there. One's even developed into an e-pal, and we share pretty much every little inner hatred with each other. Specifically, one certain person.

If you used to play Neo, and were a Charter member, you may know who I'm talking about in the following rant.

She thinks she owns the boards. She has minions who will harass for her when she's not around. She and her minions like to make jabs at people when they're not there to see it or online at all. She's an effing bitch. She thinks she can say anything about anyone she doesn't like and then not get in trouble for it. She has caused me to cancel my Premium after a year and a half of happily making friends through the boards. She thinks I'm lying when I say this, and continues her idiotic pestering. She's a freaking adult with children, whereas I'm only a teenager who's still in high school. She acts more immature that a fucking five-year-old sometimes.

If you know who I'm talking about, Neo-refugees, and you agree with me, I love you.

But yeah, discuss the whorish-ness of some adults on the Internet. :D

I know the type. Best thing to do is to ignore them and block them.

the fc was terrible that's why i left :P i used to be semi-popular there but it's such a terrible enviroment and everyone there is so petty, i went back a few days ago and some girl was acting like i didn't deserve to breathe in her air. pffft.

Yeah, see, I met my best online friend on neopets, but we jumped ship once it was taken over by whoever the hell owns it now. We have a proboards, but I remember very vividly we used to have quite the little fanclub going on the roleplaying forums (not a following, just lurkers who would lurk on our threads). It was fun because that was when everyone didn't go 'OMFG he held her handddddd. Reportreportreport freeeeeeeezzzzzzeee', and we got away with A LOT there. It was cool for awhile, sure, but then shit started happening.

The kirbies were the worst. They were the most annoying little shits I've ever met in my life. I think they actually had a guild, and would just sit on various forums and wait for someone's board to be slightly out of line with the rules and do their little 'kirby air raid' or whatever they did and report you until you moved to neomail. They HATED Sya and I. XD It was funny for awhile, but after the fourth board that was quite literally ruined (I think it might have been one of our old Abbey ones), we kind of got tired of it. :/

Random rant, I know, but neopets isn't the place to be for 'mature' audiences. XD Subeta is much better and you can literally get everything you could on neopets premium here for FREE. ^^

They frozen my account once for saying I didn't see anything wrong with someone being gay but they didn't do anything to the person using it as an insult, so I said screw them and never went back on.

Seriously, screw neopets. I like subeta better anyway.

Oh, I know what you mean. I totally forgot that neopets is against anything out of the social norm. Is it bad to say that I secretly hope sometimes that neopets will crash and burn and be seen for what it really is one day? XD

They've become so obsessed with making a buck, they no longer care about the patrons of the site unless you're spending all your money on their crappy products and they pumped the site absolute FULL of ads. It's disgusting.

I kinda miss the old neopets...where you could get away with shit. :/ It's SO much better here because the rules aren't so uptight. I mean, on neopets, I wouldn't even be able to TALK about Subeta or swear or even just complain about the site in general. To me, personally, neopets is a bad environment to be in because the staff DOES NOT interact with the other members. At all. Well, maybe a bit, but definitely not like they should. They don't take suggestions, the economy is terrible, the people are all like...12 (no offense to anyone who's that age), you can't have a good conversation. It's just an all around bad thing. :/

Which is why I came HERE to Subeta. I LOVE it here and don't think I'll ever leave. o.o

You just described, like 80% of the site. But, yeah. There's pretty much people like that on every section of the boards. Why don't you tell her to her face that she's an adult with kids and needs to gtfo Neopets?

The only way I will ever leave Subeta is if they start doing things the way neopets is doing things. If that happens I will flee like a rat from a sinking ship.

And also screw TNT(The Neopets Team for those who don't know, or as I like to call them Those Neanderthal Trogs)

Edit: I don't think Subeta will ever turn into neopets, but I'm ready to haul ass in the other direction if it happens.

I actually did tell it to her face once, in Neopian-appropriate form. I pointed out that she seems to be following me around a lot lately, always popping up on the boards I make, and I asked her to tell me anything she's feeling towards me, but that my heart is sworn to someone else, who keeps it in their glass jars for experimental purposes. xD Otherwise known as, I accused her of stalking me and wanting to have sex with my ass. Nty plz. D: I'm too busy trying to hunt down a boyfriend who isn't potentially gay like my last one, has at least one thing in common with me, and can bear with my obsession with Adam Lambert. ^_^;

She started playing victim, of course, which she accuses me of doing. Whore. -_-;

Subeta's my new home. I like it here. Great people, I can curse as much as I fuckin' want (woot) and no one can yell at me for showing my face on a thread. :P I've gradually been drifting over here as I've been maturing lol, I mean in 7th grade, when I first signed up, I liked it, but Neo was still my style. These days, Subeta's the bomb, and I can't stand to even think about funding TNT's plots of doom anymore. ahem Pay no attention to the pile of Neopets plushies in the corner of my room. They're from a while ago. Too cute to throw out. :P
