I just came across this website called Send me Something and I would love to participate in the project. However, the FAQ tells me I should be using a self-addressed stamped envelope. What is that? Cause I checked Wikipedia and I'm still unsure what to do :P
Also, I live outside the US, so could I use non-US stamps?
Thanks guys ;)
I think it's just an envelope, with your own address on it...with stamps o.o
And you include that in the envelope you send to the other person/company?
I guess so.. But in my opinion, I'd want to be a bit skeptical of such a scheme... Remember the good old phrase "if something seems too good to be true, it probably is". For all you know, they might be using your address to sign up to multiple marketing and advertising surveys, bombarding you with junk mail etc.
Yeah I know, I'm not sure if I'm going to do it, but I just wanted to know what to do, just in case :)
thanks!
Basically, whatever your sending to someone, inside the package, include a stamped envelope addressed to you =]
Honestly, postage isn't that horribly expensive.
Especially with a self-addressed stamped envelope. All you have to pay for is an envelope, stamp, and ink to write your address for them to send whatever it is to you.
Heh, I came across that website last night. I'm really curious about what I would get back, but I'm a bit wary about giving my address out like that. :s
That sounds awesome I'm going to do that.
I hope it's not something disturbing.
And yeah you just put an envelope with your own address and a stamp on it inside the envelope that you're addressing to them. That's how that works.
