I was kind of getting sick of my old style :C It was bland and boring.

So I like this one now. Does anyone disagree? holds up pitchfork >C

but i do love your old style. this is beautiful, well done, and clean, but sightly boring. i always admired how unique your art was!

I seriously love this. Like the lines are so clean and amazing and the hair looks great and I LOVE LOVE LOVE when mouths and noses are drawn like the way you did them. I think its funny that you called your old art bland and boring though, because I do think this style is a bit more cliche than your other style.

I was getting a lot of really poor feed back on other sites I was on, which is why I thought maybe people would like this style a little more.

and those people can suck it. what gets you noticed in a good way is a unique style + skill. this new drawing shows a LOT of skill and only a little style, whereas your older drawings were like nothing i have seen!

it's good to expiriment and practice, and not stay in one "style" for too long, but there is NOTHING bland about yours! :3

thats because a lot of people on most sites really respond well to only animu stuff. really, do what you like, not what other people like, because in the real art world, it is individuality that gets you noticed, not conformity. :3 I really do like your work, like seriously! I think it is so funky and cool, I already have like 2 or three pieces from your! (but no full body stuff! you wanna do an art trade?)

It's funny that you guys think this is so different from my usual style. xD The only thing I've altered really is the eyes. The rest of it is how I draw my faces anyways. xDD And I just added a weird painter effect. xD Lols.

- Probably only if you wanted a CI. xD I hate drawing full bodies. I only like to draw them for myself. xD

i think the art posted is gawjus and i'm really into how you did the mouth and noses. i'm a sucker for that ;p (sry! i guess i like animu!) i'm a bigger fan of this style than your older one, but i guess, like the others have said, your 'old' style is a lot more unique and will probably draw more... attention? idk.. i'm not an art expert but definitely an art whore (so i suppose i go through a lot of art daily), so though i cannot criticize professionally i can still say i'm quite the fan of your new, experimental style.

The funny thing is, I've never liked the way I've drawn eyes though =/ They've ALWAYS bothered me. I like these eyes. They're more realistic. Even if the whole image isn't.

Also, I hope you guys aren't comparing this to my noodles. Because I'm not replacing this style with my noodles. Pfft. You can't get rid of my noodles. xD

I used to draw animu crap. But I couldn't improve. So I stopped drawing it. And I started improving C: I was excited.

Also, fun fact... Back in the day, I used to draw eyes more like this before I jumped into the animu bandwagon. I wish I still had some of the old art, then you'd see D:

I give WOMEN big lips. But this isn't a woman. This is a man. So he doesn't get big lips. Men have thinner, squarer lips. So that's what he gets. xD (I USED to give men big lips, a LONG time ago. So if you're looking at my DA, you probably see that... however, most of that art is a couple months old. xD)

I love(d) your old art, but I really enjoy this new style too. It looks less cartoony and more realistic, I guess, but it's still not realism. I just really love subtly, so this style speaks out to me, hahahah.

I don't really update my DA very often. If I updated it with even HALF the things I draw, people would go insane with the amount of things I would add in a single day. So I just use a private photobucket. xD A lot of my art doesn't get seen by anyone really. It's just for me to later lol at. xD

I C U THR HAMLET. And yeah. I was considering doing it all realistic. But I don't like drawing realistic noses. Lols. xD Or hair, for that matter. xD

I personally enjoy this style more than your usual/old style. To me, your old style was very...rigid and cartoon-y, which is kinda bland imo. But this style. Wow. Just wow. The lines have a very fluid feel to them and the slight painterly effect makes it very pleasing to the eyes. (Also liking the choice of colors btw)

The eyes. My god, how have you improved. They were the first things I focused on when I opened the link. They instantly draw my attention to them and the face. I really like how you drew them. It is the life of this picture.

In conclusion; I'm really lovin' this new style of yours and hope to see you develop it more and combine it with your old style to twist it into something truly unique and elegant.
