I've found the stuff on livejournal.com to have better quality (most of the time) than fanfiction.net... (it's also where to go should you desire RPF)

just search for your fandom in the interest box, and find a community...

Fanfiction.net is good. But you can also just google the fandom and then fanfiction :)
