I just got an "other" notice telling me that someone had mentioned me in the WADYL thread. This sort of threw me a bit as I was not expecting a notice about this. When was this particular noticed implemented and does it apply to more than one thread, or just that thread in particular? Any help clearing this up would be great!

I think if the person just says your Name, Per say, if i were to just say Distinct, you wouldnt get notified, If the post was an Edit, then you wont get notified.

I think this would have been useful as a news post. I rarely fall into the general discussion. I'm mainly in the pet subforum. I only read about it just now on Subeta's Twitter page because I was greatly confused...
