To those of you here that don't participate in other parts of the site, I thought I'd let you in on a new Forum Option.

Now, just like with Twitter, you can @ someones name.

It's currently running in trial mode, and it is still a little buggy (people with numbers in their names are having difficulty).

But this will make it easier for those one-on-one RP's that you do on the board, no more checking to see if someone posted, they can simply @ your username before their post, and it will pop up as a notification of contact with your events.

It will also enable people to respond to the one-on-one adverts, without the user having to check back constantly, you can simply cruise around and wait for someone to @ you. =)

All you do to use it is type the @ symbol, and then then someones username. You don't have to link them, it does it on it's own. You must spell the username EXACTLY.

And you cannot Edit a post and have it work, so if you're going to 'ping' someone, you have to do it the first time you post.
