Hey there. ^^ I know I'm not often seen in Warriors RPs, but about a month ago, I came up with an idea which I posted, but no-one joined. So, I'd like some opinions on this idea?
THE STORY...
Many tales are told of the Clans of the Forests, or ancient prophecies handed to them by StarClan and of the journies which then followed. But times have changed. Far from the land of the traditional cats, are the mighty Monster Twolegplaces - or cities, as the cats who live there affectionately call them. There are Clans living here too, descended from ancient clans who lived on the land until Twolegs or "humans" moved in. To the north lives the powerful and healthy HighClan, living among the rich humans. Those of BridgeClan live by the deep waters by the huge metal bridge. Then DownCats live in the City Centre, living it rough as they survive Monsters and dogs along the Thunderpaths.
For a while now, HighClan and DownClan have been at odds. DownClan say that HighClan are practically Kittypets and accuse them of breaking Warrior Code by taking food given to them by Humans, but HighClan call them hypocrites as they go out and kill during battle. Tension is rising among the cats of the city, especially when BridgeClan is being forced to take a side.
Will the way of life cats know be destroyed forever? Or will a prophecy from StarClan save them...?
INFORMATION
Names and Language:- Ah yes, the ever-controversial topic of names. Well, in this roleplay, the cat can be named anything - the city cats see the whole "naming" system held by the cats of the wild tribal and primitive. They're more likely to be named after something to do with metal or technology in the City, or even retain kittypet names or human names, but the cat's name will be in it's realm of experience - therefore, no names like "Dragon" or "Ghost" unless they are former kittypets. However, they do upkeep the tradition of renaming the leader "---Star", out of respect for their ancestors. A kittypet may change their name when they enter a clan, but are not forced to. As for language, cats may still use some traditional vocabulary, but they do not refer to people as "twolegs" - they just refer to them as humans.
Kittypets and Dogs:- Of course, the Clans of the city must share their home with the despised Kittypets and the dangerous Dogs. Clans and Kittypets made a truce long ago, to stay out of each other's way unless necessary. Any kittypet may become a clan member and vice versa, but they must never turn back. Dogs are to be avoided at all costs, with no agreements in place. While some street dogs may allow you to pass through their territory, others may not and attack cats who trespass. Clan Cats show respect to both other parties.
Warrior Code:- The warrior Code is similar to that of the wild Clans.
CLANS
HighClan:- A clan of cats which live in the richer, north part of the city. As such, they are some of the best fed cats and are generally a lot healthier than cats in BridgeClan or DownClan, however, the rough DownClan sees them as almost the same as kittypets. They are the smallest clan, made up mostly of former kittypets or descendants of kittypets, but the HighClan is very strict in keeping the Warrior Code and are strict of who they let in, being very prideful.
BridgeClan:- A clan of cats which wonder around the City Bridge and harbours. They are the only clan which likes to swim, and kits are taught from a young age how to, should the occasion arise that they need to. They tend to feed off fish and other things that they manage to get from the city harbour. They rule over the south of the City. They are the second-largest clan, and are fair to everyone within. They have uneasy friendships with both other clans, put under stress when DownClan and HighClan fight...
DownClan:- Living downtown in the City Centre, this clan likes to live it rough, playing survival of the fittest. Facing the daily trails of dodging traffic, dogs and stealing scraps from trash cans isn't exactly the high-life, but this clan is the largest, accepting anyone in, although their leader is cruel. This clan has been at odds with HighClan for as long as anyone can remember, and when fighting, DownClan will often throw Warrior Code to the wind.
So, have you any suggestions to improve this? Is anyone interested in this idea? Throw your thoughts at me! ^^
I-I-I don't know what to say. It's brilliant. I'd definitely join. I can't think of anything to help you improve, sorry, but I do applaud your work. Comment or SMail me when (if) you make it!! Good luck!!
