I am desperately in need of a redline.

For a while now, I've been working my BUNS off to draw animals. And I still can't get their darn legs / paws right.

So, I really need someone's help. And huge walls of text don't usually help me. They just annoy the crap out of me.

Please, can someone (or more than one) redline this? I will reward the people who I find helpful. Really. I'm that desperate for some assistance.

The anatomy should be somewhat similar to this creature: Hurhur So, when you redline it, please keep that in mind. It's not just supposed to be some weird wolf thing.

Basically I'd suggest looking at a skeleton and looking at how the joints and limbs are formed. C: It helps a lot and once you know the basics you can transfer it to almost any animal.

Eee yes yes I think you got it. :D And with practice it'll get a lot easier, but you've probably figured that out with your human(oids). <3 Generally, most animals have the same 'make up' as bones as us humans, they're just distorted becaues of evolution.

The main thing was the stance is a little off-balance, like, not-grounded, so I tweaked that. I changed a few other things just going off the ref you gave, I made the body a little longer too.

It is a nice sketch though, really. :) Your humans are fabulous, I think you will have no problem drawing animals. It's the other way around that is a nightmare. (Currently in that nightmare. :()

I think it looks great! :D And yeah, I am a stickler for anatomy so I draw proportions very realistic, that might be why. But both versions are nice, I just wanted to give you my input. :)

And AGDGSH, you don't have to! ;^; But if you really want to, I would lovelovelove a doodle of my current HA. Total artistic freedom, just the only thing is that she look somewhat Asian, since she's supposed to be. ❤️
