terms used by stuck-up, attention whores on facebook.
honestly, I fucking HATE that term, now. christ, its fine to use it everyone in a while as a joke/when you're really pissed but.. There are just so many girls, on facebook (maybe its just my age group) that fucking use that term in EVERY SINGLE FUCKING status update.
'omfg fml' 'miss him, fml' 'fml, its raining' 'fml cant go swimming (n)'
JESUS CHRIST! SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY. do they even know what real pain is? or what it's really like to hate your life? NO. why? because having a boy not like you would never be comparable to living in poverty, or living in isolation/on the streets.
-.- and ya, that's my rant, because I don't want to get into how much I hate other things.
hbu?
ia. hearing things like: I DIDN'T GET A COOKIE WAAAH FML. i think it sums up our society pretty well. self absorbed, people who need attention and recognition from others.
It took me...
About five months to figure out what 'fml' meant so...
OMG FML FML FML FML OMFG.
In all seriousness, yes, it's annoying. Same with all other chatpseak terms, though. For exmaple:
ROFL LOL/LULZ STFU SRS WTF OMG/OMFG FTW
'QFT' is slowly becoming the new 'LOL'. You post a status update on Facebook, and all someone posts is 'QFT'
Er... thank you?
I like 'fml'. I use it in a humorous way, not a serious way. (are people ever really serious when they say 'fuck my life'?)
:/
Ohh, what does fml means? haha, I don't even know
it means 'fuck my life' from fml.com where a bunch of sappy losers gather to share their epic fails.
fml, its annoying when people do that.
I love that site to death. For the most part, I think the people on there are seeing the humor in their unpleasant situations.
I agree it's stupid when it's overused.
But, Fmylife.com is /hillarious/.
I think FML is my all time favourite acronym.
I was disappointed to come to this thread and realise it's just a rant. FYL.
I saw this used earlier today and had to google it. To me, dumbest acronym ever after 'lol'. Thank goodness I only see this stuff on Subeta and never outside of it. It would drive me bonkers.
I know what you mean. :/ A LOT of the girls I know use that on their Facebook. I don't think it's a bad term, but seriously, stop.
