ok so I have a DS... there was a period where I wasn't using it like, at all, maybe for around four months. I guess in that period of time I spilled something on/in the bag it was in because next time I went to go use it, it was sticky as hell; no big deal, I cleaned off the sticky bits and it worked fine. unfortunately the entire time I was playing the same game, the game that was in it before, so I didn't notice or even stop to think that maybe whatever got spilled leaked onto the game slot as well.

so now I just got a few new games and I'm trying to get the game out so I can play them. ... whoops it's stuck!! Seriously it won't click down so I can get it out. ): Ummm this is no good.

Do any of you have any ideas how I could possibly get this out, or is that game going to be stuck in there forever? bahhh

keep in mind this is an emulator so I have, uh, a lot of games on there, and likewise a lot of game data. |: FML

[edit]

LOL I managed to get it out. I kept pushing down on it, it didn't move, I gave up, looked back over and it was popped out. :| Oh well, mysteries aside, I am happy, haha.

game stop and EB games are the same thing, right? |: 'cause we don't have game stop where I live, haha.

ugghh I almost just want to pour water in there and see if it would help, but somehow I think that would cause more harm than good.

I'm glad you got it out. I had a problem with my PSP getting out a game, but I got it out, too. It doesn't open or close as easily as it should, but it still works!

Definitely don't do this. Water + electronics = pretty stupid.

I'd take it to EB games/best buy/another electronic store and see if there's any way they can clean it out without harming it. Using water is just going to damage it even further. If you don't wanna do that try a Lysol/other disinfectant wipe and try and wipe the stuff off. That's what I always use.
