Yes, so I finally got my god-awfully slow computer wiped out. :D It is running much more smoothly, and all my files were protected on my second hard-drive.
Yet, I am having a few more problems:
Second problem:
I have no idea how to get my speakers working again. I'm pretty sure they came with the Dell Desktop Computer. The speakers are Altec Lansing.
Help? :(
My computer monitor that came with the computer itself has long been broken, so I had to buy a new one. It's an HP monitor.
With the recent wipe out, the computer screen has been large and bulky, and it's not making me very happy.
Whenever I try to change the resolution under 'Properties' it gets extremely tiny and unreadable.
How to I get my screen back to normal? This huge stuff is making my eyes hurt. x___x
[edit]
Okay, after Service Pack 2 was installed, the screen went back to normal :D Now for the speakers...
What you'll probably need to do is install an audio driver. As for how to find out what driver you need, find out exactly what make your speakers are, for example, I can hover over the volume button in the bottom right corner and it tells me mine are 'Realtek High Definition Audio' so I'd need to find a Realtek High Definition Audio Driver.
If you type what you're looking for into Google, there should be hundreds of sites you can download them from. Maybe even the Microsoft website itself!
