So. I'm starting my work experience in tomorrow. It's for five days. I'm going to a local pet shop which sells mammals, fish, birds, inverts and reptiles. Which is really good for me 'cause I love my mammals and reps, but I'm so nervous. I mean. I know the people there as I visit every few weeks but I'm nervous normally. Any tips? Perhaps just pep talk?

Anddd. Where did you go on your work experience? Did it turn out okay?

I loved doing my work experiance. ❤ I worked in a costume design shop, got to make tea and coffee, sew, clean hat linings, ect. The people are all nice and welcoming, and they'll understand that you're nervous, and they'll put you at ease and such. Don't worry too much, the first day will be the most nerve wracking, but then they'll make sure you don't have THAT much to do. :3

Naww. That sucks. Swine flu hasn't got to my area yet, well, one person, but yeah. We're safe X3

I'm sure you'll love it, and because you're doing something that you'll enjoy, you'll love it even more. Oh, and because you KNOW the people, it'll be that much easier to settle down and help them out. I didn't have any form of contact with the people I was working for, and I was just fine with them.

OH, YOU LUCKY LITTLE- That sounds like my IDEAL work experience. There's none around here hiring though.

I haven't done any work experience, but don't worry about it - not a lot could go wrong. They'll probably go really easy on you and just explain everything to you first.

Zero confidence high five? It really sucks. I can't go up to store people to ask where something is. It's horrribblee.

Muahaha. I actually had to get my own insurance for this place, because the insurance they have doesn't cover under 16's working

I hope nothing goes wrong >.< The teacher who is visiting me on the placement is my pure evil french teacher. Why she chose me I do not know.
