I can walk as normal as I can with an ankle brace on now, but I'm still worried.
The bruising has gotten darker, and I noticed that on the top right of my foot, there's a dip. Not a small one, either. It's huge. The part that looked like I had a second ankle is still swollen too, and my ankle is huge.
I showed my assistant manager because she was worried, and she thinks the dip is normal and due to the swelling.
I dunno though. I think it may be time to pay a visit to my family doctor.
It's been over a week, and it doesn't really hurt too much to walk on it anymore (although constant standing/running around at work isn't doing it too good); it just hurts to touch it.
What do you think? It looks a lot better than it did, but I'm still worried.
Definitely see a doctor. Even if it turns out to be nothing but a bad bruise...anytime you're thinking about going to a doctor for something you should go. I'd be a little worried about that too, btw.
The bruising is mostly gone, but there's still a spot that won't go away, and won't stop hurting. I also woke up with really bad pain up by my toes, and the rest of my ankle is throbbing.
That lump is still there, and it's not going down.
I think it's time to try and find time outside of work to see the doctor =/
Hope you find out what's wrong and it gets better soon. :( I think I have a hairline fracture in my right hand where I whacked it against the edge of the computer desk the day before yesterday, pulling out a power cord that was stuck. I can fully use the hand and all, it only hurts when I touch it and it's puffed up a little. I'd go see my doctor, but I don't have the insurance right now. Or a job. So that's a no go.
Yeah, my insurance is on the line, too. I meet the non-financial requirements (working at least 100 hours a month), but I make wayyy too much for their liking (you're only allowed to make $425 a month, and minimum wage will soon be $7.25) UGH.
I hope your hand feels better =)
I don't think this is just a sprain if it's STILL hurting. I had an even worse sprain on my other ankle, and I was up and around in less than two weeks. It'll be three weeks tomorrow that my right ankle has been sprained. I don't know if working pretty much every day has to deal with it in any way (on my feet from anywhere between 3 and 8+ hours a shift).
The dip can be normal due to the swelling, but it would probably be wise to go see a physician. Bruising does develop over time... what did you do?
