This is something that's always bugged me, but I've never actually asked. How do I change my status? Can I? I've seen other people with something like:

Status: [insert quote here]

How do I do that?

Hover over the friends online list under your username, active pet, etc. and click on my status.

at some point you must have deleted it or something.

Between "Buddylist | Comments" and your friends online should be a thick black line. Click at the very start of that line and the status box should appear for you to update :)

None of your friends have to be online for you to change it.
