I personally prefer Scribble Telelines to most things :P But In some ways, "Bristles" makes me think more along the lines of a Montre to a Teleline.

I prefer him as a scribble telenine. 'Bristle' sounds like something who's playful/crazy which suits the telenine more. The montre is more... -STARE-.

I think Bristle sounds fluffy like a really old toothbrush, so the scribble telenine matches the name more with all his bristly fur =)

I also would go for the Telenine.
