It wont let me open another layer. I'm using Photoshop 7 and Windows Vista. I've used layers before without this problem, any help?

There are a lot of unknowns in this. Have you updated it recently? Without knowing what you are doing, no one is going to know how to help you out.

Try Image > Mode (?; it's the first option) > RGB Colors However, it's a bit hard to help as I don't know what you're doing.

I'd suggest asking this in a more fitting forum. Art discussion forums should have more users who would be able to help you with photoshop issues.

Have no problems with photshop 7 + vista, but then my edition just got updated.
