MM I would keep using elixirs inbetween zaps hoping for just acolor + not a species+color change. They get pretty cheap

Wizard Quests, definitely, sell the tokens for a nice wad of sP. Item Hunt, Saggi's quests when you can, and Stock Market, if you're patient.
