Hey guys! I'm kinda new here, and I was wondering what the faeries are for? Does something happen if I release a certain number? I've got so many I don't know what to do with them all!

You get a special Luminaire layout if you release 1000 of them (: There's also an achievement for having one of each kind in your inventory (note, that one includes which isn't found via RE)

Ugh it's so pretty. I love that Subeta allows you to make clothing pieces. Do you happen to know if there's a place you can look to see how many you've released?

It really is, it's probably one of my favorite items honestly x) The Luminaire section under Achievements keeps track of the fairies you've released. New this year there's also an achievement for finding them in random events on the same page (:
