Has anyone else lost the backgrounds in the their shops and profiles?

If you use one of the premade lookups from subetaHQ and HQ is down, then your profiles from there will fail to load. Once the site comes back up it will work fine again, you don't have to do anything. HQ tends to experience a lot of down time from updates and traffic overloading.

Mine has gone, I got it from mbif. I'm guessing it's a temporary fault - at least I hope so!

how do you get backgrounds for your shop ?

Well, my backgrounds are in place once again in shops/profile. I get my background material from www.mbif.net - lot of material to choose from.
