I recently referred someone to the site. How long would it take for it to appear in my preferences, and are there any prizes in store for me? :)

They have to meet certain requirements before they're actually considered a referral. We don't know exactly what the reqs are, but they deal with the person being an active user of the site. Yes, there are referral prizes.
