Okay, I'm pretty sure, but just making sure

Is it against the rules to have someone hold a pet/hold a pet for someone? I seem to remember it not being an issue, but I like to be cautious ;)

I don't believe it is. as long as you don't say it's yours when it is being held, and don't link to the pet as yours on your profile or anything ;)

. What if I'm having someone adopt/create the pet for me so that I can adopt it later when i have the space?

yep :D that's fine :D I myself have done it before. again, as long as you PLAN to actually own the pet sometime soon and not claim it was your own until then
