I've been fiddling with my signature and forumset, and I think I have finally settled on something I like.

However, I'm not sure whether or not it's in the size limit or whether or not it's allowed to "advertise" an art board in an image.

Your image is 300px hight and you have 2 lines of text which makes your whole Forumset 320px high and that's perfectly within the limits of 325px height :) And of course it's allowed to advertise for your Artwork there :D
