I always wondered - what would happen if you zapped a genderless pet?

If you got a gender zap, what would your pet turn into?

I'm pretty sure they just turn into a random gender.

To mangawitch: To get a genderless pet, you adopt a Cadogre robot or an Endeavor.

I’ve zapped a genderless pet before. When the gender zap happened at V.2, the gender went from “none” to being completely blank. However at V.1, it always changed my genderless pet into a male when I got the gender zap.

so i could potentially zap Thirteen / Bare into a male, using the V1 zapper? :o

Yes, you potentially could. OR, you could use a Sex berry and feed that to your pet(s) but a random gender gets assigned there too, so there is no guarantee you would get male.

as long as i can make a genderless pet gendered, that's all i need to know!
