I was curious since this is my first time, but do you find out who your gift giver is at the end or is it always anonymous through and through?

It's anonymous.

It wasn't like that last year, so I doubt it's like that now.

You'll stay unknown forever and ever 8D Unless you just happen to find a post where the user brags about what he/she has gotten and you happen to recognize your items.... but it's more fun not to know right :D

I suppose you're right, though it would be an interesting way to meet someone random through the giving of gifts.
