i keep getting an event that says ''Secret Santa has been reset!"

I think this event means, that your Mysterious Melody Partner has been reseted. This thing resets always on midnight.

It does mean that. I've gotten the error as well. You just need to go back to the Arctic Frost and sign up again and you will be paired with a new partner.
