If you put items in drawers, do they still count toward your totals for the section achievements (ankle jewelery, finger layer, get off my back, etc.)?

- Yup! :) Even though you organize them into drawers, the items are still sectioned of into ankle, finger, etc. You will still get the achievements when you have how ever many items is required. :)

- Oh...so when you put stuff in drawers you aren't actually 'moving' them? I see. I haven't played with the drawers yet, and didn't want to spend hours sorting stuff only to find out that I would have to move everything back for achievements.
